Varsity Girls Soccer Wins
Congratulations to the Varsity Girls Soccer team for winning the championship at the Aledo Moritz Kia Tournament this past weekend!  Way to go Ladycats!
Mr. and Miss AHS

Congratulations to all the seniors that were nominated for Mr. and Miss AHS.  Selected by the senior class as Miss AHS, is Treva Davis.  Treva has attended Aledo Schools since kindergarten.  She is in the top ten percent of her class.  Her favorite subject is physics.  She is an important member of the Ladycats basketball and track teams.  The most important things in Treva’s life are her family and friends.  She will always remember cheering on the football team and throwing water and flour at the state games.  She plans on attending Texas A&M in the fall.
Mr. AHS is Parker Warren.
Parker has attended Aledo Schools since fifth grade.  His favorite subject is English.  Parker is president of the Aledo theater department and Captain of the Improv Cats.  He enjoys singing, acting, attending concerts, sharing his quintessential pop culture references, and making people laugh.  Parker says that using his talents helped shaped his crazy, enthusiastic personality but that the key to his lifestyle is maintaining a majestic beard.  Parker’s moments of greatest pride come from the roles that he has played in theater over the past three years.  He will always remember dressing up as a zombie to perform Thriller with his production class at the Halloween pep rally.  He plans on attending college and pursing the arts.  He has a lifelong dream of becoming a cast member on Saturday Night Live
Visitors to Aledo High School Campus

Parents are welcome to visit our school.  For the safety of those within the school and to avoid disruption of instructional time, all visitors must report to the main office and sign in, and must comply with all applicable district policies and procedures.

Visitors other than parents are generally not permitted on campus.

AHS Singer Makes All-State Choir!

After an extremely long process of auditions that began in September and ended last Saturday, Cassie Dale has made the All-State Choir. This is the first Aledo student to make this extremely elite group in 12 years. Her talent, dedication, and hard work earned her Third chair, and the opportunity to sing with the top choir at this year's TMEA convention in February. This makes her one of the top Female singers in the State of Texas! Congratulations!
